He Tupu Ōhanga - Commercial Advisors Scheme will reopen late 2020
The Commercial Advisors Scheme (CAS) funds Māori collectives for up to $60,000, to work with a commercial advisor for a period of 12 to 18 months.
The scheme is open to Māori collectives, including trusts, incorporations, post-settlement governance entities and coalitions of collectives and a total investment of just over $10 million committed in the last three years. Applications for the 2018 round were assessed and 33 projects identified for investment.
UPDATE: Funding decisions for He Tupu Ōhanga – Commercial Advisors Scheme (CAS) 2019 funding round will be announced March/April 2020.
Te Punaha Hihiko - Vision Matauranga Capability Fund will re open late 2020
Te Punaha Hihiki: Vision Matauranga Capability Fund aims to strengthen capability, capacity, skills and networks between Māori and the science and innovation system by partnering with research organisations.
Up to $4million in funding is available in the 2020 investment round for research projects of up to 24 months.
