HE TUPU ŌHANGA – the Commercial Advisors Scheme that opens Monday, 19 August, 2019 is funded through Te Pūnaha Hiringa Māori Innovation Fund and enables Māori collectives to work with a commercial Advisor for up to 18 months. Applications close 19 September

Commercial Advisors provide professional business advice and mentoring as they work with collectives on business development projects aimed at realising the potential commercial value of the collective’s assets.

EXPANDED SCOPE

We are encouraging collectives/coalitions to consider how they can prepare for a future economy that will look very different than it is today.

These include new technologies, globalisation and demographic shifts. As businesses gain confidence to invest in new low-emissions technologies, new industries and jobs emerge, Māori can be part of the global transition.

HOW TO APPLY

An online portal on the MBIE website will be available for applications on the 19 August, however, we strongly recommend applicants become familiar with the Call for Proposal information
